WE GIVE BACK

At Minika Ko, giving back is part of our culture from the beginning. Along with changing the way women dress with our high performance clothing, KOVASKY, we are making fashion a force for good and showing how powerful it is when our communities support and uplift each other.  

As a company we have created a charity fashion event called KOllision where we invite artists of all mediums to use fashion to challenge preconceptions and explore ideas. The proceeds are donated to charitable causes, supporting soup kitchens in midtown Manhattan and sent feminine hygiene products to South Africa through a partnership with COPE NYC and Stand for Education. We have also supported other charities, including Bottomless Closet, a non-profit organization that helps empower New York City women in need to enter the workforce and achieve success, and other philanthropic initiatives in sustainability and women’s empowerment. 

Our company is a startup. At this stage most of our effort remains dedicated to growing the business. Our hope is that as we build the Minika Ko brand, we will be able to impact the world in an even bigger way by our charitable contributions. Through collaborating with our fellow artists, we are learning the most effective way to give along the way.
