This silky organza gown is custom made and inspired by the enchanting streets of Lucca Italy, the hometown of Giacomo Puccini. His powerful operas inspired the design of Sì dress, embodying the soft yet emphatic notes of each aria. Sì represents the balance of fragility and strength by combining their complementary traits.
By using traditional haute couture techniques, Minika Ko crafted Sì dress through draping and hand sewing. Thoughtful details, such as the horse hair sewn hem, were added to provide distinct shape while still allowing gentle fluidity in the skirt. Finally, ruching the bodice adds pronounced texture, fully emphasizing the feminine silhouette.
