Pleated Dress

Inspired by the clean, modern architecture presented in the Pressing Matters, a publication of the Department of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design (PennDesign), fashion designer Minika Ko transformed the futuristic architecture into dresses via exquisite draping and manipulating of pleats. The pleated fabrics were made here in New York City by Tom’s Sons International Pleating in midtown Manhattan.
